Food was great. Service and manager were always working hard. We come here twice a year on our way to Orlando. Always the same great tasting food.
Better than anything we had in PCB. The Buffalo Shrimp was amazing! The portions are huge, and the prices were decent.
We eat out more than I care to think about. This was one of the best seafood meal we have ever had! We had grouper, slaw, onion rings, baked beans, cheese grits, hush puppies and their garlic bread. The best slaw & grits ever! Fish was great, flakey and cooked perfect! You can actually taste the beer in their beer battered onion rings. Keith was wonderful and the staff were very attentive. Great stop if you are in the area...we highly recommend it
Mix-N-Match (shrimp & catfish) was outstanding and was perfect to split for lunch! Fries and Cole slaw were also excellent. Service was great and quick even at lunchtime on a Thursday. Don't miss the chance to grab a bite here!!!!

We had lunch here yesterday. The place was busy but we were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant wasn't big but had plenty of tables and a few booths. They also had a counter with 5 or 6 stools. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our food came out quickly and was piping hot. I had 9 fried shrimp with cheese grits and a salad. The salad was crisp and cold, the cheese grits were creamy and cheesy and the shrimp were huge, golden and fried perfectly. My husband had the fried shrimp po boy with onion rings. He said that his sandwich was delicious, with the huge, golden brown shrimp, tartar sauce, lettuce and tomato. The onion rings tasted homemade and were also delicious. We highly recommend Castaways.

Have been three times and have not been disappointed. Food is really good - try and save room for dessert. Coconut cream cake is delicious. Service on a busy day will be a bit slow, but friendly. Price is fair for the amount of food. Atmosphere is quaint and bit old-fashioned, but not dirty. And the food is so good, who cares how they decorate. This is a local joint and it works. Eat here. You won't be sorry.
